Pediatric Specialty

As one of the nine recognized specialties of the American Dental Association, Pediatric Dentistry is dedicated to the oral health of children and patients with special health care needs. Pediatric dentists complete two to three years of additional specialized training after four years of dental school. In addition to dental health, they study child psychology, growth and development.

This specialization allows pediatric dentists to provide the most up-to-date thorough treatment for a wide variety of children’s dental problems. Dr. Maggie’s training in this specialty also included providing qualified care to patients with medical, physical, or mental disabilities.
