Air abrasion – No-Drill Dentistry
Air abrasion is a method of decay removal that replaces the traditional “dentist drill.” A hand-held device blows a powerful air stream of tiny, fine, aluminum oxide particles out of its tip across the decayed area of the tooth. Because air abrasion cuts tooth surfaces with the utmost precision, it removes less tooth structure than a drill and treatment time is usually shorter. Often this can be accomplished without anesthetic.

Intra-oral Camera In Every Treatment Room
An intra-oral camera is about the size of a pen and fits easily into a patient’s mouth. This device sends a picture to a monitor that can magnify the image up to 400 times larger. Patients will be able to see the same image that the dentist sees, at the same time, making it possible for the dentist to show them the treatment that may be needed.

Cosmetic Imaging
Cosmetic imaging also improves our cosmetic dentistry services. The imaging software can show before and after photos of any proposed cosmetic services. It will show you what your smile can look like after teeth are straightened or whitened. It can also digitally fill spaces where your teeth are missing or repair chips in your teeth. All of this is done without an instrument touching your mouth. Preview your new smile before treatment begins.

Digital Photography
With digital photography, you’ll be able to see what you’re going to look like after your procedure is complete. Digital photography is used hand in hand with cosmetic imaging. Want to know what you’ll look like with whiter teeth? We can show you. What would you look like with straighter teeth?
Digital photography is also used as a diagnostic tool. By documenting the look and condition with digital visual records, we are able to provide detailed information to our dental laboratory and to our doctors to properly restore your smile. Blending the colors of restored teeth with natural teeth is very complex and requires accurate images.
